Privacy Policy

Articulate Integration and Technologies Ltd. (“**we**”, “**us**”, “**our**”) built the Customer Portal mobile application (“**App**”) and related web services.  

This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your information, and what choices you have.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use information  

  • Provide core App functions (e.g., account login, order processing)  
  • Improve and debug the App  
  • Communicate service updates
  • Comply with legal obligations or defend legal claims  

3. Permissions & sensors (Android‑specific)  

The App requests the following runtime permissions:* **Camera** – to let you attach job‑site photos to an order  * **Location** – to suggest the nearest plant for deliveries  * **Storage** – to cache draft orders offline  Permissions are strictly limited to the purposes described above and may be revoked at any time in your device settings.

4. Sharing of information  

We **do not sell** personal data. We share it only with:  1. **Service providers** processing data on our behalf under contract (e.g., cloud hosting, payment gateway)  2. **Authorities or legal advisers** when required by law or to protect rights  Each recipient is bound by confidentiality and security obligations at least as protective as this Policy.

5. International transfers  

Data may be stored or processed on servers outside your country. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other safeguards recognised under GDPR/UK GDPR.

6. Security  

We apply administrative, technical and organisational measures such as:* Principle of least privilege and role‑based access  * Annual penetration testing and continuous monitoring  No method of transmission is 100 % secure, but we continuously improve our defences.

7. Data retention  

We keep personal data **only as long as necessary** for the purposes above, then anonymise or delete it. Order records are retained for up to 7 years to meet tax and regulatory requirements [EDIT].

8. Children’s privacy  

The App is **not directed to children under 13**. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided personal information, contact us to delete it.

9. Your privacy rights  

Depending on your location you may:* Access, correct or delete your data  * Object to or restrict processing  * Withdraw consent at any time  Submit requests via apps@aitechnologies.ca. We will respond within applicable statutory time‑frames (30 days for GDPR; 45 days for CCPA, extendable).

10. Automated decision‑making  

The App does **not** use profiling or automated decisions that significantly affect you.

11. Account & data deletion  

You can delete your account and associated data by contacting apps@aitechnologies.ca.Deletion is irreversible unless we must retain certain data for fraud‑prevention or legal obligations.

12. Changes to this Policy  

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced in‑app and on our Play Store page at least 7 days before taking effect.
